Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the tragedy that befell Sanquez Morgan and the broader impact his death has had on the Birmingham community. It's particularly touching to see how the community has banded together in response. The initiative by the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority to feature the faces of victims of violence on public buses is such a powerful reminder of the lives lost and the families still grieving. It's a beautiful way to keep Sanquez's memory alive and very meaningful for his mother, Felicia, who’s courageously standing up with others to advocate for peace. For those more familiar with the Birmingham area, do you feel like this kind of public awareness is making any difference in the community? Are there any other community initiatives that have been effective in addressing these issues? It seems crucial for us to support efforts that make progress in reducing gun violence. My heart truly goes out to the families who have to navigate life without their loved ones and to all those who are fighting to prevent further tragedies. Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you've been involved in such efforts or know more about how similar initiatives have fared in other communities.

Did anyone catch the recent discussion about the bus wraps unveiled in February 2020? I wasn't aware of this initiative until recently, and it really touched me to see the faces of Sanquez Morgan and others who have tragically lost their lives to violence in Birmingham. It's such a powerful way to honor their memories and keep the conversation going about gun violence in our city. I genuinely felt for Felicia Morgan and the other mothers who participated in this project. I can't imagine the strength it takes to publicly share such a personal loss in hopes of making a difference. This has made me realize how important it is to support these families and push for meaningful change. Has anyone else seen the bus? What are your thoughts?

Has anyone else seen the bus with the tribute wrap around Birmingham? I drove past it yesterday, and it really hit home. Seeing Sanquez Morgan's face on there, along with others who’ve tragically lost their lives, it's like a powerful reminder of what we need to change in our community. My heart truly goes out to his mom, Felicia, and all the families involved. It’s such a meaningful way to keep their memories alive while also pushing for the changes we desperately need. Have any of you attended any of the events organized by these families or local groups? I'd love to hear more about what the community is doing to address these issues.
