I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighborhood where Christopher Watson was found. It’s sad how often we hear about these tragic incidents occurring around 3rd Avenue West. As someone who grew up near Birmingham, it’s frustrating to see the area plagued with crime, and it must be absolutely devastating for the families, like Christopher’s, who have to deal with such a senseless loss. He was so young, just 31, with his whole life ahead of him and two kids who will grow up without their father. I can only imagine the pain his parents, Jessie and Vera, are feeling right now. It must be excruciating for them to navigate life after losing their son in such a violent way. I’m hoping that someone will come forward with information. We need to put the pressure on the community to rally and help catch whoever’s responsible. If you know something, anything, reach out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers. Let's do what we can to support Christopher's family and others suffering from these tragedies. Rest in peace, Christopher. You deserved so much better.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the case of Christopher Watson, and something that really stood out to me was the location where he was found. Near 3rd Avenue West and 1st Street West – that spot used to be a place my friends and I hung out quite a bit in high school. It's surreal to imagine something so tragic happening in a place that holds so many memories for some of us. I can't stop wondering if there's a reason why that particular area was where he ended up. Was it a spot he frequented, or could it have been a random and unfortunate choice? Could this location hold any significance that investigators should be exploring? I just hope that anyone who was out that night might have noticed something that seemed a bit off, something that could help tie together the pieces of this puzzle. The fact that this happened in a familiar place just makes it hit home even harder. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through, and I wish there was more we could do as a community to support them and help bring justice to Christopher's case. Hoping to see some peace for his family soon. Stay safe out there ❤️
