Hey everyone,
I've been following Rodregous Gurley's case closely, and there's something that's been on my mind regarding the response times and coordination between the East and South Precinct officers. From what's been reported, it seems the initial call about shots fired came in pretty quickly, and there was another alert about a shooting victim around the same time. I'm wondering if there have been any discussions or insights into how these precincts coordinate in real-time, especially in such high-stakes situations. It's crucial to understand these dynamics not only to process this case but to think about broader public safety measures in Birmingham.
It's just incredibly sad and concerning that Gurley had to be transported privately first to Children's Hospital before making it to UAB. Could quicker coordination or communication have influenced the response differently? Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has more info on this aspect. Keeping Rodregous's family and loved ones in my thoughts. It's tough to see another life lost to senseless violence.
Stay safe, everyone.
