I've been following the case of Brooke Lemer, and am puzzled about the gap between her being reported missing and the later interactions with law enforcement. It’s intriguing how her family hadn’t had contact for five years, yet she was arrested twice during that time. How does something like this slip through the cracks? It seems like a breakdown in communication between agencies might have played a part. It makes me wonder if there are other missing persons out there who have similar gaps in their timelines. Has anyone else come across a case like this? Would love to hear thoughts or any similar stories!

Hey all, I've been following the Brooke Lemer case and I keep coming back to the situation with her multiple police interactions. It's so puzzling how someone can be "missing" yet have such a visible footprint through official channels. Does anyone else find it odd that her arrest records didn't trigger some kind of alert or cross-check back when she was still considered missing? I get that databases can be a mess and departments sometimes don't communicate well, but it's 2025—shouldn't there be better systems in place by now to catch these things? Also, I wonder if she was using an alias during those years—or did the system genuinely just miss it all? It's frustrating knowing the family went so long without information. Thoughts?
