Was anyone else really shaken by the location of this tragic event? It's shocking to think about the proximity to Fire Station 20. I can't imagine what the first responders felt, being so close to a life-and-death situation and yet not being able to prevent it. Kudos to them for their swift actions in treating the wounded once they arrived and the subsequent response. The loss of Toshobe Adox-Jones is a real tragedy, and I'm keeping his family and loved ones in my thoughts during this difficult time. For those of you living nearby, does this type of incident change how safe you feel in the community? It seems like the neighborhood around Fulton Avenue Southwest is grappling with this right now. I hope we can find peace and a sense of safety again soon.
