Does anyone remember Rick Van Duyn's case? I recently came across some details and can't stop thinking about the witness who saw the pickup leaving the scene. From what I understand, they spotted a Ford pickup truck, right? I wonder if this witness or anyone else around that area got any other identifying details—like the color of the truck or if there were any distinctive features or sounds from it? It's so chilling to think how foggy it was that night, which probably helped the suspects vanish without a trace. Leigh's courage and persistence must be immense, facing each day without answers about what happened to Rick. It's been decades, but I believe someone, somewhere, must know something. I hope sharing info and keeping discussions alive could hold the key to reopening dialogues and reaching justice for Rick and his family.

Was anyone else struck by the fact that Rick Van Duyn's murder happened despite having both a witness and a deputy nearby? It’s so perplexing that with people in such close proximity, the assailants could still vanish without a trace. I can only imagine the mix of frustration and sadness his family must feel knowing that clues were potentially just out of reach due to the fog that night. I'm curious if there were any follow-ups with the witness or if new technology could now bring some insights into identifying that pickup truck. Hopefully, this case gets the attention it so desperately needs, and someone finally comes forward with vital information. It's way past time for Rick's loved ones to get the justice they’ve been longing for.

I've been following Rick Van Duyn's case and can't stop thinking about the witness who saw the Ford pickup truck speeding away. I wonder if they could recall any more identifying features of the vehicle or the driver, even if it's small details like a bumper sticker or damage to the truck. It's terrifying to think the suspect(s) managed to slip away even with a deputy so close by. This poor family is left without answers, and it's been decades. I can't imagine how hard it must be for Leigh and his loved ones not knowing who took Rick's life so brutally. Does anyone know if there were further attempts to track down trucks matching that description in the area at the time? Maybe someone with a Ford pickup remembers something suspicious from back then. This case deserves resolution for Rick's sake and to ensure those responsible are held accountable.
