Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Jesus Edmundo Torres and something's been on my mind about his possible trip to Mexico. I've noticed that there's been a lot of talk about people going south to reconnect with extended family or for new opportunities, but it seems strange that there's been absolutely no contact or confirmed sightings since. Does anyone here know if there were any prior ties or connections Jesus might have had in Mexico that would make this trip more plausible? I wonder if there are community members down there who might remember him or if there were efforts made to reach out to consulates or local authorities across the border. It's troubling not knowing which leads are being actively pursued. Any insights or updates others might have stumbled upon would be greatly appreciated!
Just stumbled upon Jesus Edmundo Torres's case while scrolling through some old threads, and something’s been bugging me. I know he vanished back in 2007, and there’s that piece about possibly heading to Mexico. But does anyone know if there were any follow-up checks or searches done across the border? Sometimes it feels like cases like this hit a dead end with just assumptions and no concrete actions. Does anyone around here have insights into whether they explored that angle more thoroughly? Crossing my fingers that he’ll turn up safe, even after all these years.
