Has anyone been following the Hector Cruz-Beltran case? One of the things that really stands out to me is the landscape around Gila Bend where he disappeared. I've read that the Sonoran Desert can be incredibly harsh and unyielding, which must make searches really tough, both for authorities and any volunteers. Does anyone have insights into how desert terrain affects missing persons cases? I wonder if technological tools like drones or thermal imaging are being used in this area. It seems like such a vast space to cover, hoping they find something soon.
