I came across the case of James Wesley Vooris recently, and it’s really been weighing on me. It’s tragic that his life was cut short, and for his family to still not have closure must be incredibly difficult. One thing I’ve been thinking about is the location of the murder. The fact that it happened at a Super 8 Motel near an interstate makes me wonder about the transient nature of people who might’ve been staying there. Could it be possible that someone passing through saw or heard something that night but didn’t realize it might be important?
I’m curious if there were any truck drivers or travelers who might’ve been there and have information but were never questioned. Sometimes even small details can be crucial, so maybe it’s worth re-visiting who was staying there that night. It’s a shot in the dark, but in cases like this, every little bit could help bring justice for James and peace for his family. If anyone happens to have stories or heard anything from back then, it might be worth mentioning to the authorities.
