It's really puzzling that Velma L. Walsh's passing hasn't been given more attention in the local news, especially considering she lived such a long life. Even though she was 90, the lack of details surrounding her passing just stands out as unusual. You would think there would be some mention of her life's achievements or contributions to her community—but there's just silence. Has anyone come across any interviews with family or friends that might shed light on her life and passing? It's surprising to see the lack of mention of her funeral arrangements too. My heart goes out to her daughter Leora and son-in-law John. Losing a parent is never easy, no matter what age they might have reached.
