Hey everyone, I'm really curious about the EPIRB alarm that went off from David Klein's boat, the *Canis Majoris*. Does anyone know how reliable these devices are in that kind of environment? I understand it was the last communication from the boat before everything went cold. Given how rough the waters off Thorne Bay can be, I'm wondering if there's any chance the EPIRB could have accidentally triggered, or if something happened on board causing it to go off. If anyone has insights into how this equipment works or any similar past cases, it would be great to discuss. It might give us more understanding of what could have happened here.
