Hi all, I was going through some articles about Bret Kyle Valona, and something struck me about his disappearance. Does anyone know if there was any severe weather reported around the time he went missing or on the days following March 1st in the Santa Rosa Beach area? Given his minimalist camping style, I’m wondering if that might have impacted his usual routine. I know he was an experienced outdoorsman, but even seasoned veterans can run into trouble if weather conditions turn unexpectedly harsh. It's such a challenging area with rapidly changing weather patterns, possible flash floods, and unpredictable coastal storms.
