It's been over a decade since Willie J. Lee was tragically taken from his family and friends, and it deeply troubles me to think this case hasn't been solved yet. I was reading more about this case, and one detail that stands out is the role of Marquette University's Department of Public Safety. To hear that they were among the first to try and help Willie just emphasizes how close-knit communities often are in these terrible moments. It makes me wonder if there are any specific protocols or strategies that could be improved in such situations, despite their brave efforts at the time. I've heard some places are implementing new tactics to handle emergencies better – anyone know if anything like this has been adopted in Milwaukee since then? My thoughts are with Willie's loved ones, and I truly hope they find the answers and justice they deserve.
