Has anyone else been looking into Donovan Howard's case from 2010? I've been reading up on it and can't shake the feeling that there are still so many unanswered questions. I came across a small detail about witnesses who might have seen or heard something on N. 47th St. that night, but nothing ever seemed to come of it. It's so distressing to think about how young he was, and I can only imagine the pain his family is still feeling after all these years. How is it possible that no new leads have surfaced in such a long time? Would love to hear if anyone else has done some digging or has thoughts about what could finally help bring some closure here. This case, like so many others, seems emblematic of the broader issue of unsolved murders in Milwaukee during that period. My heart goes out to his loved ones.
Did anyone else notice the lack of updates about the ballistics report in Donovan Howard's case? It feels like there was a lot of momentum early on, but now everything has gotten cold. It's so frustrating for the families who are left without any closure. The ballistics could be key to connecting incidents or possibly identifying suspects from other unsolved shootings.
I can't imagine how hard it is for Donovan's loved ones, knowing his case is one of many left in limbo. We need to support more resources for the detectives working these cases and keep pushing for new investigative techniques. Milwaukee has faced too much violence, and each unsolved case is a devastating reminder of the lives we've lost. Keeping the discussion going can hopefully bring some renewed attention to these cases and the families left to endure the silence.
