Hey everyone, I’ve been following Phillips M. Blake’s case from Milwaukee and my heart goes out to his family and friends. What bothers me the most is the location where it happened – right on the sidewalk near 38th and Center. It's unsettling to think that such violence can erupt in a public space where anyone could have been caught in the crossfire. Given the time of year, just a few days before Christmas, it must have been especially hard on the community and those closest to him. Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras or businesses nearby that might have captured more information? It seems like such a busy intersection could potentially have some form of footage that might help catch whoever is responsible. I’m hoping someone will come forward with any piece of information. If anyone has ideas on how to help with community safety initiatives, those could be incredibly beneficial. Rest in peace, Phillips.
