I was deeply moved reading about Devon Harris and the circumstances surrounding his death. From what I've learned, he was deeply involved in helping his family, especially in taking care of his grandfather. It’s so upsetting to think that someone with such a caring spirit was taken away so brutally. It’s clear that Devon meant a lot to his family and community, and his absence is felt profoundly. I really resonate with what Kenyartic Harris said about Devon being too trusting. It reminds me how vulnerable kind-hearted folks can be. I keep wondering if this trust might have played a role in the tragic events that unfolded. Did he let someone in his circle he shouldn’t have? It's disturbing that we live in a world where kindness is sometimes met with such cruelty. My heart goes out to Devon's family. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they are going through, especially with no answers or justice yet. It's frustrating and scary to think about the violence in Milwaukee at that time. Community voices like Tracey Dent are crucial—we absolutely need to address the violence that's affecting so many innocent lives. I hope there's a breakthrough soon that brings some peace and justice to those who knew and loved Devon.
