Hey everyone, I’ve been following the story about the tragic shooting near 41st and Burleigh, and it's been weighing on my mind. Antonio Edwards was so young with so much potential ahead of him. It’s incredibly difficult to understand how an argument can escalate to such a point where a life is lost. My heart goes out to Antonio’s family and friends; I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re experiencing right now. I’m also thinking about the safety of the community. It’s terrifying to think that suspects are still out there, and I desperately hope the police find some solid leads soon. It’d be great if we could figure out ways to support the families involved and perhaps support community efforts to prevent more tragedies like this from occurring. Does anyone know of any local initiatives? Stay safe out there, everyone.
