I've been following William E. Dandy's case closely since it happened, and it never fails to haunt me how completely random and senseless his murder seems. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must be feeling, still waiting for answers and some form of justice. I'm particularly struck by the lack of motive or any connection between William and the person who took his life. It makes one wonder about the randomness of such acts and how anyone could be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's a chilling reminder of how fragile our safety can be and how gun violence in Milwaukee affects far too many families. If anyone has any information or tips, even if they seem small, I sincerely hope they feel compelled to come forward. Someone out there knows what happened to William, and his family deserves some peace and closure. It's heartbreaking to think they have to continue their lives without answers.
