Has anyone joined the community outreach meetings that started after the tragic night on June 21st, 2015? With the passing of both Tevin and Leterious, I’ve noticed more discussions about trying to make the neighborhood safer. It’s truly devastating to see two young lives lost in such senseless acts of violence, and my heart goes out to their families and friends. I read somewhere that local organizations are pushing for more resources and opportunities for the youth in our area. I think this could really make a difference in preventing future tragedies. Has anyone attended these events? Do you feel they’re gaining traction, or do people seem skeptical? I’m hoping we can find some positive actions moving forward, as no one else should have to endure what these families are experiencing right now. Let's keep talking and supporting each other to foster some hope amidst the sorrow.
