I’ve been thinking a lot about the bravery of Janice Potts in those crucial moments after the shooting. It’s shocking to imagine how terrifying that must have been for her, yet she managed to gather the courage to not only call 911 but also to be there for Norman Davis during his last moments. It’s a testament to the kind of community spirit we sometimes take for granted. Knowing that she stayed calm and tried her best to comfort him speaks volumes about her character. It must be incredibly difficult for her to process the whole experience. I hope she’s receiving the support she needs while dealing with the weight of what she witnessed. My heart goes out to Norman’s family and friends, and also to the other victim who survived and is hopefully on the mend. How has the community been supporting each other since this tragedy?

Such a devastating story for all involved. What I find particularly chilling is the detail about the tampered doorknob. It suggests that someone really wanted to make sure no one was getting out or maybe even stopping someone from getting in? I can't help but wonder if this indicates premeditation or just desperation. Either way, it's so unsettling. My heart goes out to Janice Potts as well; it must have been truly traumatic witnessing such a scene and feeling so helpless to change the outcome for Norman Davis. I hope the investigators are piecing together every bit of the puzzle. Maybe the mention of "my guy's friend" will lead them to the truth. Sending strength to Norman's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Has anyone else been thinking about the bravery and quick thinking of Janice Potts in the Milwaukee shooting incident? I can't imagine the chaos and fear she must have felt when she heard the commotion and found Norman Davis in such a dire situation. It takes tremendous courage to step in and try to help during such a traumatic event. Calling 911 and attempting to aid Davis was more than many could manage in a moment of crisis. I'm really hoping that the police can follow up on the info Davis shared with Potts. It just highlights how important those first moments and the people present can be in investigations like these. My heart goes out to Norman's family—I can't imagine the pain they're enduring. Let's hope justice is served swiftly and thoroughly.
