I came across an article about the tragic shooting that took Hausien Hennings' life back in December 2016. It was mentioned how the incident left another person injured and it's just so distressing to think about the ripple effect of violence on the community. My heart goes out to Hausien's family and friends who had to endure such a sudden and unimaginable loss. I was also reading through some reports about the surge in crime in Milwaukee around that time, and it's just so baffling and frustrating. Why do these kinds of violent incidents keep happening? It's like no matter what steps are taken, there's always more heartache. For anyone here from the Milwaukee area, did you feel a change or heightened tension in the community during those days? Hoping justice is served for Hausien and that peace can eventually find its way back to the city.
