I'm really curious about the circumstances surrounding the murder of Fred Cohen. I've been digging through old news articles and came across multiple mentions of loud arguments coming from his home in the weeks leading up to his death. Does anyone else find that detail suspicious, or is it just me? I wonder if the arguments were related to his work or something more personal. It's so frustrating that the case has gone cold for so long. I'm holding out hope that maybe renewed attention or advances in forensic technology could bring some answers to his family and loved ones who have been waiting for justice all these years.
I’ve been following the Fred Cohen case for a while, and something that really strikes me is the lack of progress despite there being several suspects identified back then. It's such a tragedy that his family hasn't found closure after all these years. I can't help but wonder if the increased interest in true crime and the advent of modern forensic technology might breathe new life into the investigation.
It's frustrating to think that crucial elements of the case might have slipped through the cracks because they haven't had fresh eyes on it. Maybe a new perspective or someone revisiting the old evidence with today’s tools could shine a light on something overlooked. Does anyone here know if there's been any recent push to re-examine the case evidence, especially with DNA advancements? I'd love to see justice served for Fred and bring some peace to his loved ones. ?
I've been reading up on the Fred Cohen case, and something caught my attention: the location of his home. Being right on the waterfront at Port Washington Narrows means it's a fairly open area. Did anyone look into potential eyewitnesses from the waterfront area who might have seen or heard anything unusual that night? Boats or people on the water could have had a clear view or might have caught some sounds that went unnoticed from the street level. It's disheartening to think that with such a tragic event, there might have been missed opportunities for crucial evidence. My thoughts are with Cohen's family and friends who have had to live with unanswered questions for so long.
