I came across something that’s been nagging at me about Dale Borneman's case. It strikes me that the suspect knew exactly when Dale would be home, almost as if they were familiar with his routine. Dale was a dedicated worker at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and always rode his bike back home, predictable as clockwork. It's chilling to think that the perp might have stalked him to know his schedule so well. My heart absolutely goes out to Dale’s family and friends. This was such a senseless act of violence, and I genuinely hope they find solace and justice soon. Does anyone else think there's something more to this, like an inside job or a targeted attack rather than just a random burglary?

It’s really disturbing to think about how quickly someone’s life can be turned upside down. I can’t imagine the terror Dale must have experienced when he came face to face with a burglar in his own carport. The fact that he likely confronted the intruder with every intention to protect himself and his home only to have the situation turn so tragically... it’s chilling. It’s devastating for his family and friends to have lost him in such a sudden and violent manner. The theft of his car, which was found abandoned, adds another layer of frustration and sadness to the case. I hope they find whoever did this and bring some justice for Dale and his loved ones. It’s been so many years, but maybe one day there will be answers and some peace for those who knew and loved him.
