Hi everyone,
I've been following Walter Jackson's case closely, and something I can't stop thinking about is the area where the assault took place. Sixth Street and Park Avenue in Bremerton – does anyone from the area have insights on the environment there back in 2001? Was it known for any particular activity that might have made it dangerous, especially in the early hours of the morning? It's incredibly distressing to think that Walter might have been in an unfamiliar or unsafe part of town when this happened. Local input could really help paint a clearer picture of the circumstances leading up to that tragic night. My thoughts go out to anyone who knew Walter and is still seeking justice for him. Any information or perspective is much appreciated.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been following Walter Jackson's case closely, and I just can’t stop thinking about the fact that he was described as a "smiley, friendly guy." It's incredibly sad to think of someone so positive and seemingly full of life meeting such a tragic end. While we don’t know all the details yet, it feels so important to remember Walter as more than just a victim of such a brutal crime. I keep wondering what brought him to Bremerton that day and what his plans were. Did he have friends in the area, or was he hoping for a fresh start? My heart goes out to his friends at the Seattle shelter—it's never easy to lose someone you care about, especially in such a violent way. If anyone knows more about the shelters or communities he was part of, it would be great to hear how they’re coping and keeping his memory alive.
