Hey everyone,
I've been following John Early's case closely and something's been nagging at me. The area where he went missing is known for its tricky terrain, but it's also frequented by a decent number of outdoor enthusiasts. I'm curious if anyone knows whether there were any other campers or mushroom hunters in the vicinity around the time John disappeared. Could someone have bumped into him that day without realizing the significance at the time? Maybe they saw him and assumed nothing was amiss, but any small detail could be vital.
Also, given that John doesn't drive, I'm wondering if he could’ve interacted with any locals in the days leading up to the trip. Did anyone in the area offer a ride, or maybe spot him hitchhiking? Just thinking out loud here. Even the slightest recollection could help put pieces together. Stay safe out there, everyone.
Just thinking about the area where John Early went missing—it's pretty dense and rough terrain out there. Has there been any mention of how familiar he was with this part of Moon Prairie and Jenny Creek roads? For those of you who know these types of remote locations, would it be easy for someone unfamiliar with the area to get lost, especially while mushroom hunting? It makes me wonder about the specific challenges search teams might face in an area like this. Given that John doesn’t drive, is there any speculation on how far he could have traveled on foot, especially in such rugged terrain? It’s puzzling that even with such extensive search efforts using modern technology and resources, the trail seems to have gone cold. Does anyone have thoughts on why searches in such situations sometimes don’t yield results even when they seem thoroughly planned and executed?
