I’ve been reading through the details about Alejandro Gutierres-Perez’s tragic death, and I'm stuck on the fact that the body was likely only at the site for about 24 hours. This seems like such a narrow window for any potential witnesses to have been around, especially in a wooded area near North Mason's highways. It makes me wonder why nobody saw anything—or if someone did, why they haven’t come forward. It's frustrating to think how quickly the leads went cold, and I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his loved ones are going through not having answers for so long. If anyone has any thoughts on why such spots near highways are chosen, or if there's something about the area that could have made it easier for this crime to go unnoticed, I'd love to hear your insights. Hoping for justice for Alejandro and healing for his family.
I’ve been thinking about the location where Alejandro's body was found, and I can't help but wonder what else it might reveal. NE Sand Hill Road and Highway 300 is somewhat remote, right? Does anyone know if it was commonly used as a dumping ground back then? It seems like whoever did this chose that spot for a reason—maybe they thought it was isolated enough to go unnoticed. I've been looking at old satellite images to get a sense of what the area was like and to see if it’s changed over the years. It’s sad to think of his family and friends who have to live with so many unanswered questions. Maybe there’s something about the terrain or the roads leading there that detectives can reexamine. I just hope someone who knows something will come forward, even after all these years.
