Hey everyone,
I've been following the Doug Adamson case closely, and something really unsettling keeps sticking in my mind. It's the discovery of Doug’s head and one leg still missing. I can’t even begin to imagine the unbearable sense of incompleteness and lack of closure this must bring to his family. Not only are they grappling with the loss of a loved one in such a brutal and senseless manner, but they're also left with these unanswered questions that must haunt them every single day.
I’ve seen cases where parts of the body were never recovered, and it always seems to complicate the grieving process. It just feels like the story is unfinished. I’m really hoping that the continued search efforts or even a tip from the public might give Doug’s family some of the answers they desperately need.
It's grim to think about what kind of person could do something so horrific, and why. If anyone has any thoughts on why those parts might still be missing or knows of similar cases where resolutions were found, I'd really like to hear about it. Perhaps understanding more about such cases could lead us closer to justice.
Sending peace and strength to Doug's family and hoping that they get the resolution they need.
Stay safe, everyone.

Thank you for your kind words. I am his kin, still searching for answers 20 years later.

I’ve been following Doug Adamson's case closely, and I can’t shake the thought of how distressing it must be for his family not only dealing with his loss but also knowing his remains were discovered in such an unimaginable manner. I was particularly struck by the fact that his pickup was found abandoned along I-205. It's as though he vanished into thin air at that point. I wonder if there was something significant about its location or if there might be any surveillance footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras that could provide some clues. It feels like such a major piece of the puzzle is missing here, literally and figuratively. My heart goes out to his loved ones who are undoubtedly looking for answers and closure. This is such a tough situation. If anyone has more updates or thoughts on this angle, I'd be interested to hear them.

as, fyi the vancouver pd unsolved homicides page still lists doug and gives the case number as V06-18673 , it also names sgt. bennie romiti (with a contact phone) as the investigator if the family or anyone else has tips 🙏. keeping this case on their unsolved list means they’re still open to new information.

Thank you, it’s nice to know there are others who care, and hold space for others pain. I appreciate you continuing to work towards an answer and justice for our family.
