It's been over three decades since Rhiannon "Rosie" Gordon was taken from us, and yet the pain of her loss feels no less real for those who loved her. I've been thinking a lot about how advancements in forensic technology could potentially be the breakthrough this case desperately needs. Remember when they re-examined the evidence in other cold cases and found new DNA profiles? I'm hopeful something similar could happen here if all the evidence gathered back then can be reinvestigated with today's technology. The community was devastated by Rosie's murder. Maybe, just maybe, this could be the ray of hope we all need to bring some closure, especially for her family who have waited so long for answers. Does anyone know if there's been any movement on this front recently? It would be amazing if some new testing could be done.
I came across Rosie's case again recently, and it's so haunting to think about how her family must have felt, and still feels, all these years later. Has anyone else looked into the part about Rosie's bike? It's puzzling that it wasn't found with her and there's not much detail about it in the reports I've seen. I wonder if any witnesses from the neighborhood ever saw someone with a bike that day or if authorities managed to track it down separately. It seems like it could be such a crucial piece of evidence in putting together what happened. If anyone has more info or theories about this aspect, I'd love to discuss it further. Keeping Rosie's family in my thoughts as this remains unsolved.
