I've been reading through Karen Ann Wheeler’s case, and something that really stands out to me is the location where her body was found. It's so eerily close to the Virginia Marine Science Museum, a place you'd imagine to be filled with families and lively activities. It just seems like such a bold and risky spot for someone to leave evidence of such a horrific crime, especially considering it's relatively close to a major road. Was this meant to send some sort of message, or did the perpetrator panic? Given the similarities to other cases around that time, I wonder if there's a link that was just never uncovered. My heart goes out to Karen’s family and friends, who have lived all these years without answers. It must be incredibly difficult, and I hope one day they find the justice they deserve. What are everyone else's thoughts on this particular aspect of the case?
