I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Geraldine’s murder must have had on her son, Jonathan, especially given how he discovered her. It's unimaginable for a child to face such a horrible scene at such a young age. I wonder how he’s coping and if there’s been support for him over the years. Situations like this often make me reflect on the lasting trauma survivors have to endure while also dealing with the agony of not having answers.
It's encouraging to know the police are revisiting the evidence with new technology, but I feel like community awareness and support could be crucial. Maybe there are people out there who knew Geraldine or lived in the same complex and might have pieces of the puzzle without even realizing it. Hopefully, continued pressure will lead to someone stepping forward, and eventually, there could be closure for Jonathan and the rest of her family. Sending love to them.
Wow, I can't even begin to imagine the pain that Jonathan must have gone through, both that day and all the years after. To come home expecting to see his mom and instead face such a horrific scene is just beyond comprehension. It must have been such a huge burden for him growing up, not just losing his mom but also having no answers. I really hope that with advancements in DNA and forensic techniques, they'll finally be able to piece together what happened. It's reassuring to know that the police are actively reworking the case with fresh eyes. If anyone out there knows anything, even the smallest detail, it could make a huge difference. Geraldine deserves justice, and Jonathan and their family deserve peace. Anyone have thoughts on why there were no signs of forced entry? It's heartbreaking to think she might have known her killer.
I've been following Geraldine Ross's case and something that's always stuck with me is the situation with her son, Jonathan. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma he experienced finding his mother like that at such a young age. It's tragic that he had to endure those hours alone, not knowing what had happened behind the closed door. It must have been so confusing and terrifying for him.
I've read that the police believe Geraldine might have known her attacker. This makes me wonder about the people in her life at the time. Were there any friends, acquaintances, or even neighbors behaving oddly after her death? Sometimes people in close proximity are the key to unlocking these cold cases. I also hope they continue to find new forensic evidence to give her family the answers they deserve.
If anyone knows more or remembers anything unusual from that time, please come forward. Geraldine and her family need justice, and any detail could help.
