Has anyone looked into the weather conditions at the time Jenkins went missing? I'm curious if there was any unexpected turbulence or storms that might have contributed to her having to deploy the life raft. Florida to the Caicos Islands is a pretty direct route, but weather in that area can be unpredictable, and it might have forced her off course. Also, does anyone know if there was any evidence of distress signaling apart from the Mayday call? Wondering if there were any reports from other flights in the area around that time.

I was looking into Jenkins' case and came across something intriguing regarding her life raft that was found on the southern coast of The Bahamas. It seems odd to me that the life raft was discovered so far from her intended destination. The drift patterns in that area can be pretty unpredictable, but I'm curious if anyone knows about the typical ocean currents between the Caicos Islands and The Bahamas around that time of year? Could those currents explain how the raft ended up where it did? Also, does anyone recall the weather conditions reported during the search? It might help us piece together some possibilities for what happened to Jenkins.
