It's been over a decade since Gavin Pollard's tragic murder, and it still haunts the East End community of Richmond. I keep thinking about that night, and it's hard to fathom that there isn't more information out there. A busy intersection like 27th Street and Nine Mile Road surely had some foot traffic or even passersby who might have unknowingly seen something crucial.
One aspect that really puzzles me is the timing—11:30 p.m. Some might say it's late, but the area isn't exactly deserted at that hour. Was there something specific about that time? Could it have been pre-planned, or was Gavin just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
I really hope someone out there remembers something—maybe a detail that seemed insignificant back then, but could now make all the difference. Gavin deserves justice, and his family deserves peace of mind. If anyone from around Richmond recalls anything, even the slightest detail, please reach out to the authorities. They still need our help to bring this case to a close.
Has anyone else looked into the CCTV footage from businesses around 27th Street and Nine Mile Road? It's been over a decade, but I keep wondering if there's something there that investigators might have missed. Sometimes, it's the smallest detail in those old tapes that can really crack a case wide open. I can't imagine the pain Gavin Pollard's family must still feel after all these years. It’s frustrating knowing they haven't gotten the answers they deserve about that awful night. If anyone has more insight or thoughts on how to push this aspect of the investigation forward, it could really make a difference in bringing this case some much-needed attention again.
