Does anyone else think about what Reginald Turner's family is going through after all these years without answers? I can’t imagine not knowing who took away a loved one so violently. It must be incredibly difficult celebrating birthdays, holidays, and other milestones with this lingering sadness and uncertainty. I read that Newport News has a specific Cold Case Unit focusing on unresolved cases, which gives me some hope. I really wish there was a way to help them with these investigations. Especially in a case like this, every little bit of information could potentially lead to something big. If anyone knows anything or even remembers the tiniest detail, it's definitely worth reaching out to the authorities. Let's hope justice is served for Reginald and his loved ones someday soon.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the unsolved case of Reginald Turner, and I can’t stop thinking about how difficult this must be for his family. A thought occurred to me while reading some old articles and police reports: Reginald was a young man with his whole life ahead of him. What I find frustrating is how we get glimpses of his life only through this tragedy. Does anyone know more about who Reginald was as a person, beyond just being another victim?
I think understanding his life and the people around him might offer some insight or, at the very least, help humanize the situation for those of us far removed from the community. Maybe locals have stories, past interactions, or even seemingly mundane memories that could paint a fuller picture of his life. If nothing else, it might keep his memory alive and remind everyone that unsolved doesn’t mean forgotten.
Appreciate any thoughts or stories you all may have.
Take care.
