Just came across the case of Ricky Platt, and it struck a chord with me. I can't imagine the pain his family must still be feeling, knowing that their son's murder remains unsolved after all these years. In communities like Newport News, it can be tough when cases start to go cold, and people might think their information isn't valuable. But even the smallest detail could be the missing piece to solving this puzzle. It’s so important for anyone who might know something – no matter how insignificant it seems – to come forward. Ricky deserves justice and his family deserves answers. Let's hope this year brings them closer to the closure they desperately seek.
