I've been following Stephen's case, and something that's been on my mind is the weather conditions on the day he went missing. I looked up the historical weather data for Wittman, AZ, on 06/18/2024, and saw that it was an unusually hot day with temperatures reaching up to 105°F. With Stephen being on his bicycle, I'm concerned about how the heat might have impacted his ability to travel long distances, especially since the area around 223rd Ave is fairly remote with limited shade. Has anyone looked into whether there were any sightings along potential routes he might have taken to find shade or water? I know it’s a stretch, but it might help pinpoint possible areas he could have headed towards.
I find it incredibly interesting how specific Stephen’s routine seemed to be with his morning rides. I mean, who else rides a black and red Mongoose mountain bike with a water bottle holder? It's such a distinct bike that it makes me wonder if anyone has spotted it since he went missing. Given that he was last seen riding around 223rd Ave and West Meyers Street, I think there's a good chance someone might recall seeing him or his bike. Maybe someone has a home security camera or dashcam footage from that morning. It could be a crucial lead! If anyone in the area has that kind of footage, it might be worth checking around that 10:28 am mark on 06/18/2024. You never know what small piece of evidence could prove helpful. Thoughts?
