Hey everyone, I'm new here but have been following Benjamin T. Goode's case since it happened. It's so devastating that his child will never get to know him. One thing that's been on my mind is why there seem to be so many gaps in what happened that night. I've read a lot about gun violence in Richmond, and I keep thinking about how Ben's case fits into the bigger picture—was this a random act, or is there more to the story? It seems like someone somewhere knows something, even if they don’t realize it. I can only imagine the pain his family must be going through, not having answers. It’s just so difficult when these cases go cold, and I really hope someone can step up with new information to help give them some peace.
Hey everyone,
I was reflecting on the tragic case of Benjamin T. Goode and something that stands out to me is the location where this all happened—the East End of Richmond. I’ve read that it’s a community struggling with quite a few challenges. It's sad because these places are often the backdrop for so much potential unrealized, and it’s just gut-wrenching to see another life—especially of someone about to become a father—cut short amidst it all.
When I think of Goode’s family, especially with a baby on the way, it just makes me hope even more that someone with information speaks up. If you’re local to this area or know someone who is, spreading the word could make so much difference. This isn’t just a crime statistic—it’s about real people, and real lives affected.
We all hope that whoever knows something finds the courage to reach out to authorities, even if it’s through Crime Stoppers to maintain anonymity. Hopefully, awareness here can help keep the conversation alive and lead to some closure for Goode’s family.
Take care, everyone.
