Has anyone else noticed the details about the psychological profile released by the Vermont State Police in 1986? It's been haunting me. They mentioned that the killer likely tried to mislead the police and could have been on drugs or in some kind of altered state. That totally stands out to me. How does someone end up in a "dream-like state" and carry out something so brutal? It makes me wonder if this person might have had other incidents in their past or if someone close to them might have seen warning signs.
Plus, the idea that someone else might know who the murderer is or at least suspect them is nerve-wracking. Imagine living with that uncertainty and fear, especially with the potential danger mentioned. It’s heartbreaking that Maram's and Roland’s families have had to live with this for years, not knowing who’s responsible. The level of violence, especially since both were shot nearly 11 times each, seems intensely personal. I sincerely hope that someone can come forward with new information to bring some peace and resolution to everyone affected by this tragedy.
