Does anyone here know more about the PMI commercial building's history before the fire? I remember reading somewhere that there had been some controversial zoning issues with the property. Could this have any connection to Eugene McDonough’s tragic death? It's so disturbing to think that a firefighter lost his life dealing with a fire that seems to have been intentionally set. My heart goes out to his family—I can't imagine the pain of not knowing who is responsible after all these years. Maybe there’s something in the local archives or old news reports about the building that could offer a clue? It feels like there has to be a piece of the puzzle we’re missing here.
