I’ve been looking into the case of Jose Luis Venegas, and something that really strikes me is the audacity and timing of the attack. It's horrifying to think that someone would be bold enough to commit such a violent act in a residential area, where people usually feel safe. The fact that it happened in broad daylight when Jose was simply getting into his car to start his day is chilling. I feel so much for his family – how terrifying and traumatic that must have been, knowing that it happened right outside his home. It makes me wonder if the shooter knew Jose's routine or if it was a crime of opportunity. Does anyone remember if there were security cameras in the neighborhood that might have caught something? It’s a long shot, but maybe revisiting footage could yield something now that wasn't noticed before. Also, curious if anyone has heard of similar incidents, possibly involving a white pickup truck, around that time. It seems like such a specific detail that it could help connect the dots. Hope we can all come together to bring justice for Jose and peace to his loved ones.
