I can’t help but feel the weight of sadness when thinking about Abraham Montez and his tragic murder. It’s deeply troubling to think he was just trying to catch a bus for a Church trip with his son, only to have his life so brutally ended. What makes my stomach turn even more is that it happened on a sidewalk where he probably felt somewhat safe, just going about his morning. The police think it was a robbery, but I wonder if there’s more to the story that we’re not seeing.
I’m curious if anyone in the neighborhood had ever reported any suspicious activities around that bus stop before or after Abraham’s death. Maybe someone saw something that seemed minor at the time but could be key now. If anyone has contacts or relatives who lived around Castroville Road back in '82, it might be worth reaching out to see if they remember anything.
It’s been so long, but there’s a chance we might help Abraham’s family find some closure—it’s never too late for justice. If you know anything or have heard stories, please share them with the authorities. His son must have so many unanswered questions; maybe we can help piece together this puzzle.
I've been thinking a lot about Abraham Montez and his tragic end lately. Being a parent myself, I can't even begin to fathom the pain his family, especially his son, must be going through. They were just trying to make their way to a church event, which makes this all the more senseless. It's baffling to me how someone can be walking to catch a bus one moment and then be gone the next due to an act of violence.
It's devastating to realize that robbery might have been the motive. I hope that anyone who was in the area or saw something that morning feels encouraged to speak up. Abraham deserves justice, and his family deserves answers and closure. If sharing or discussing the case can help even in the smallest way, it's worth it. Love and strength to those who are still missing him every day.
