A man is shot to death on his way to the bus 63-year old Abraham Montez was on the way to catch a bus in the early morning hours of June 12, 1982. Abraham and his son were planning to travel to Laredo, TX for a Church outing. Police believe Abraham was walking to a bus stop in the 2100 block of Castroville Road when his assailants found him. Abraham was found dead on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The evidence at the scene leads Police to believe robbery was the motive for this murder.
