Richard Hernandez's case has always stuck with me because it highlights how tough it can be for families waiting for answers. It's been decades now, and I can't even imagine the pain his son and loved ones have faced without any closure. I read that Richard was on his way home when it happened—it's terrifying to think something so vicious could occur while doing something so ordinary. I wonder if the area behind that shopping center has seen similar incidents, or if it was an isolated case back then. It's often those tiny details that can jog someone's memory or bring new information to light. If anyone remembers that part of San Antonio from the late '80s, or has even one piece of information, it could finally give his family some peace. Here's hoping someone sees the call from authorities and decides to speak up.
