I've been thinking a lot about Saul Maldonado's case, especially the impact it must have had on his loved ones. It's tough to wrap my head around the fact that his murder was just one among a series of gang-related incidents during that time in San Antonio. I can only imagine the frustration and fear the community must have felt back then. I remember reading about the efforts made to tackle gang violence, but it's clear that these criminal networks were difficult to dismantle. Has anyone heard anything about how Saul's family is doing now? I hope they find some peace or closure, though I know that's easier said than done. Being taken away in such a violent manner is truly tragic, and those left behind deserve answers.
