I’ve been following Cory Perossier’s case for a while, and I keep thinking about how crucial witness cooperation is in solving crimes like this. It’s incredibly sad that the investigation hit such a dead end due to the lack of willing witnesses. Living in a large city like Houston comes with its own set of challenges, and it’s disheartening to see how these hinder justice for families seeking answers. I wish there were more ways to encourage people to come forward, even if they’re afraid. I hope that someone out there has the courage to provide the tip or testimony needed to help Cory’s family find the justice they deserve after such a painful loss. It’s been too long, and they deserve peace. Stay strong, Perossier family. We’re all hoping for a breakthrough.
I've been following Cory Perossier's case for a while, and I really feel for his family. Something that caught my attention is this: weren't there any surveillance cameras in the area back in 2007? I know technology wasn't as advanced as it is now, but even some grainy footage might have provided a lead or at least been better than nothing. It’s frustrating to think that someone out there might have seen something and still hasn’t come forward. The fact that it became a cold case without any footage or eyewitnesses is puzzling. Given how residential neighborhoods can sometimes be tight-knit, I just wonder if people are scared to talk or if they genuinely didn’t witness anything. I sincerely hope that over the years, someone who knows something will find the courage to speak up so that Cory’s loved ones can find some peace.
I always get a heavy feeling in my chest thinking about how Cory Perossier's case is still unsolved. It's hard to imagine how frustrating and painful this must be for his family. Living in the same city, I remember hearing about it back then, and it's stayed with me ever since.
What's been bugging me lately is how community involvement can make such a difference in these cases. It’s a real puzzle—some folks know something but don't come forward. Fear? Distrust in law enforcement? Whatever it is, it’s beyond sad because someone out there holds the keys to justice for Cory and peace for his loved ones. I wish there were more ways to convince people to step up, even anonymously, so that these tragedies don't stay shrouded in silence.
Much respect for the Cold Case Squad—and hats off to them for keeping hope alive. To anyone who knows something but is keeping quiet: please consider how much Cory's family deserves closure. Your piece of the puzzle could be the one that finally fits.
