On February 4, 2007, Cory Perossier, aged 27, was killed in Houston, Texas, in what police have described as a homicide involving gunfire. The incident took place in a residential area, and officers responded to the scene following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they found Perossier with critical injuries, and despite attempts to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
