Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the role of community awareness in Emmy Shirley Torres' case. I was reading up on the strategies used by cold case units, and it struck me how vital public engagement is to solving these older cases. Emmy's tragic death shouldn't be just another statistic. There's this kind of forgotten element with time that feels so unjust toward what happened to her. I keep wondering if local community events or awareness campaigns could reignite interest and possibly bring forward someone with crucial information. Do any of you think a different approach to community outreach might help in cases like Emmy's? Sometimes even the smallest detail could be the key piece in the puzzle. I truly hope that with renewed interest and public involvement, those left in the dark for too long can finally see some light. For Emmy and all those like her, I wish for answers and peace. #JusticeForEmmy #SanAntonioUnsolvedCases #ColdCaseAwareness
