Hi everyone, I've been following Jaime Ortiz's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the potential role of advancements in forensic technology. Since his murder in 2008, there have been significant leaps in DNA technology and other forensic methods. I wonder if the HPD's Cold Case Squad has revisited any evidence with these new techniques. It's so important for families like Jaime's to see some movement in these long-standing cases. It's unimaginable what they must be feeling, wondering if new science might shine a light on something missed before. Hopefully, someone will speak up, or perhaps advancements will yield the key to unlocking what happened to Jaime. Does anyone here know if they've made any public statements about reanalyzing old evidence with modern tech? I hope the renewed chances with technology can keep the hope alive for answers. Sending love to Jaime's family, and fingers crossed for some breakthroughs soon.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact Jaime Ortiz's murder has had on his family and the broader community all these years. Even though it's been over a decade, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for them without any closure. I read somewhere that the Cold Case Squad is trying to re-examine old evidence, and I'm really hoping that with today’s technology, they can unearth something new. It's frustrating seeing so many of these cases go unsolved for so long. But what really strikes me is how important community input is in cases like these. Someone out there might know something, even if it seems trivial. I'm urging anyone who might have lived in the area around that time or who might have heard something to come forward. It’s often the smallest details that make the biggest difference. Let's do what we can to help Jaime's family find the justice they deserve. Anyone else have any thoughts on how we can keep this case on people's radars?
