Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone might have some helpful info or thoughts on a case that's been on my mind. It's about the child who the father last saw in June 2021. From what I understand, the mother might have taken the child to Mexico. I feel like cases that involve crossing international borders are always so complicated. Does anyone here have experience with how authorities go about locating someone in another country? Like, do they usually get cooperation, or does it end up being harder to pursue? Looking for any insights—thanks in advance!

It's been over two years since anyone has seen 8-year-old Lily, who was last spotted with her mom back in June 2021. The last credible sighting suggested they might have headed to Mexico, but that trail has run cold. It baffles me how someone can just vanish so completely. Lily was about 4 feet tall and weighed around 50 pounds when she went missing. She has curly brown hair and hazel eyes. I wonder how much she's changed since then. Kids grow up fast, and I hope she's safe wherever she is. Has anyone heard about similar cases of parental abduction and how law enforcement usually handles them when they possibly leave the country? It's a tough spot for the father, not knowing anything for so long. Hoping for some expertise or advice from those who've navigated similar waters.

Has anyone looked into the possibility of surveillance footage from border crossings or bus terminals? If the child is believed to be in Mexico, it might be worth checking if any cameras caught a glimpse of them with the mother. Even in 2021, some places keep footage for a long time, especially if you can connect with local authorities on both sides of the border. And for those in communities along the border, maybe keep an eye out for flyers or news from local agencies about missing persons. Sometimes a fresh perspective or new eyes on the ground can make all the difference. Curious what others think about this approach!
