Has anyone else looked into that supposed witness who lived down the street from where Carlos was shot? I came across an old article mentioning someone who claimed to have seen a black SUV speeding away from the scene that night. It’s baffling we haven’t heard more about this angle. Considering the lack of solid leads, it's frustrating to think something so crucial might be overlooked or forgotten. If this could help clarify what was happening in the area that night, maybe there's still a chance for Carlos's case to be resolved. My heart goes out to his family—they deserve some answers after all these years. Anyone have any thoughts or info on this?
Did anyone here know Carlos personally or have ties to the West Side neighborhood during 2008? I've been following his case and am really struck by how tight-lipped the community seems to be, even after all these years. It's understandable… fear can be such a powerful force, especially when gang activity is involved. But it just makes me wonder if there's anyone out there who might have overheard even a small detail or seen something they thought was insignificant at the time. Sometimes, these little things can end up being monumental. I can’t imagine the pain Carlos’s family is going through, having to live with so many unanswered questions. If his story resonates with anyone, please, maybe it’s worth reaching out to the authorities, even anonymously. You never know what could finally tip the scales toward justice for Carlos.
