I can't stop thinking about the missing case of 16-year-old Emily Carter who apparently ran away from her home in Riverdale last month. What's really sticking with me is how her friends mentioned she spoke about wanting to leave town for some time. But here's where it gets weird: they said she was saving money for a bus ticket, yet there's no record she bought any ticket around the time she disappeared. Is it possible she planned her escape with someone else who might have a vehicle? Or maybe she hitchhiked? I'm really curious if anyone has seen similar cases where the person talked about running away for a while and whether they ended up returning home or staying hidden. Could she have just been trying to scare her parents or is there more to this story?
